Interview With Marilyn is showing for the first time to the Miami audiences on Wednesday February 26th, at the SilverSpot Cinemas in DownTown Miami as part of the recently renamed FilmGate Short Film Festival (previously known as NOLA).
Organized by Diliana Alexander and Film Gate, this is a monthly festival that supports local filmmakers, which closes with an annual edition in which all the monthly winners are nominated for the big Award, and they have kept their voting style: each person in the audience is given a plush toy as they enter the theater, then they watch the program, and as the films are named out loud, they throw the toy to the film they enjoyed the most, so here the idea of “audience participation” is taken to a new level.
Rosalinda Rodriguez, Interview with Marilyn’s leading actress attended along with her husband, and the Production Team as well as the director were also present in the event.
